Daisy Summer Blouse - Knitting pattern
Daisy Summer Blouse - Knitting pattern
DESCRIPTION
Get ready for the most drape-tastic shirt you’ve ever made. Inspired by the Calgary Stampede (from my hometown of Calgary, Alberta, Canada), I wanted to create a summer top that was fun, flirty, and easy to pair with jean shorts, and if you’re at the Stampede grounds, cowboy boots! Knit top down and in the round, it’s knit in three pieces (body and two sleeves) and is cinched at the top with an elastic (and a drawstring for flair). It has 6-8” of positive ease in the bust and ends with a simple and beautiful lace pattern and icord bind off. The billowing sleeves are the last to knit, and then are attached with a teeeensy bit of seaming.
This pattern is written in nine sizes – XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL). It is suggested that you highlight your size, so you know which stitch count to follow. Model pictured is wearing the size M and is 5’7”, 150 pounds. She has a bust of 36.5” in circumference, for reference
Knit in the round, lace work, increases, decreases, double brim, icord bind off.
